Masdar City: A Mini-Series from the Green City in the Desert

I recently got the chance to visit Masdar City, the planned city project built to be the world’s first zero-carbon city. Masdar City is located 17 km east-south-east of Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

So what’s so exciting about Masdar City?

It’s pretty simple: We know we need to get to a zero-carbon world as soon as possible. Masdar City shows us how it can be done. And that it can be done.

So there’s basically a lot we can learn from Masdar City, which was also the reason why we wanted to go there in the first place.

To capture the insights and pass them along, we filmed our visit — and are now turning the recordings into a mini-series. A handful of short videos which we will be sharing in the coming weeks.
